Do you provide life jackets or any other safety equipment?Yes! Every paddleboard rental includes a life jacket and an ankle leash to keep you safe and connected to your board. Your safety is our top priority, and we make sure you’re fully equipped for a fun, worry-free time on the water. Need extra life jackets? You can rent additional ones for just $5 on the first day and $2 for each additional day.

What if I damage the paddleboard during the rental period?If your paddleboard gets damaged during your rental, please let us know right away. Our optional damage protection covers most repairable issues. If you didn’t choose the coverage, repair costs will be based on the extent of the damage. We also provide transparent pricing for any lost or broken parts.

Do you offer hard paddleboards?Yes, we have a few different hard paddleboards available for rent or purchase, subject to availability. Please give us a call to see current availability.

How big are the backpacks?The paddleboard and all its accessories pack neatly into a convenient breathable, mesh backpack, making it easy to carry and transport. Most customers find they can fit 2–3 paddleboards in the trunk of a standard car, so getting your gear to the water is simple and hassle-free.

How long does it take to inflate an inflatable paddleboard?Inflating a paddleboard usually takes around 5-10 minutes with the included dual-action pump with pressure gauge. For faster inflation, you can also use an electric pump.

Can I rent paddleboards for a group or event?Yes, we offer group and event rentals! Whether it's a family outing, corporate event, or group adventure, we can accommodate your needs. Reach out to us for special group rates and arrangements by emailing service@skitrucks.com with your event details.

What should I bring when picking up the paddleboard?When picking up your paddleboard rental, please bring a valid ID and the credit card used to make the reservation. We also recommend bringing sunscreen, water, and any personal items you'll want for your time on the water. Renters must be 18 or older, or accompanied by a parent or guardian.

How do I return the paddleboard after my rental period?Return the paddleboard to our store during business hours. Ensure the board and all included equipment are wiped down and in good condition. Dirty boards may be subject to a cleaning fee.

What should I do if I have issues with the paddleboard during my rental?If you run into any issues with your paddleboard during your rental, please call us right away at 801-595-0919. We're here to help and can provide support or arrange a replacement board if needed. Your safety and satisfaction are always our top priorities.

Why is air blowing out of my paddleboard after I remove the hose?If air escapes from your paddleboard when you remove the hose, the valve is likely not set to the proper inflate position. To prevent this, make sure the valve pin is in the “UP” position before you start inflating. How to Use the Valve: To Inflate: The valve pin should be in the UP position. Press and twist the pin counter-clockwise until it pops up. This seals the valve and prevents air from leaking out when you disconnect the pump. To Deflate: Press and twist the pin clockwise to move it to the DOWN position. This opens the valve, allowing the board to deflate.

How much is the insurance and what does it cover?Our optional damage insurance for paddleboards is just $3 per day, per board. It covers most minor, repairable damage to your SUP rental, including: • Punctures or patches up to 2" in diameter • Light abrasions and surface wear Please note, the insurance does not cover: • Damage requiring patches larger than 2" • Excessive wear and tear • Lost, missing, or stolen equipment or parts

What's the cleaning fee for?Returning paddleboards with excess dirt or mud can cause long-term damage—especially when they're rolled up for storage, as debris can grind into the foam and materials over time. To help keep our gear in great shape, any equipment returned with mud, heavy dirt, sand, or debris that requires more than a simple wipe-down will incur a minimum $25 cleaning fee. Thanks for treating our gear with care—we really appreciate it!
