Return Policy

At Ski Trucks, our goal is to provide top-quality ski and snowboard equipment at the best prices, ensuring you get the right gear for your needs. As a small family-owned business, we pride ourselves on delivering excellent customer service. To ensure clarity and fairness, we have revised our return policy as follows:

1. Return Period

  • New Equipment: Returns for new, unused ski and snowboard gear are accepted within 30 days from the purchase date. Items must be unused, in their original packaging, and in a resellable condition with all tags attached. Proof of purchase is required for all returns.

  • Used Equipment: Returns for used equipment are accepted within 14 days from the purchase date, provided the items are in the same condition as when purchased and have not been significantly used or damaged. Proof of purchase is required for all returns. We offer FREE in-season exchanges if you’re not fully satisfied with your purchase.

We suggest spending a few days on the slopes to truly get a feel for your new or used equipment. It can take a few days to adapt to new or new-to-you gear.

2. Damaged or Missing Items

If your order arrives with damaged or missing items, please notify us in writing within 48 hours of delivery. Return claims will not be processed without this written notice. We reserve the right to deny any claims made after the 48-hour window.

3. Exchanges & Returns

Our mission is to get you into the right gear at the best possible price. If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help make things right. As a family-owned business, we take great care in ensuring you find the right gear and will work with you on exchanges and returns where possible.

  • Exchanges: If you need a different size, model, or color, we will gladly assist with an exchange. If the mistake is on our end (e.g., incorrect item shipped), we will cover the shipping costs. If the mistake is on your end (e.g., wrong selection or sizing), you will be responsible for return shipping. In cases of unforeseen circumstances, we will split the shipping costs.

Clearance Policy

Clearance items are sold as-is and are final sale. No returns, exchanges, or refunds will be accepted for clearance items under any circumstances.

  • These items are offered as part of our commitment to reducing waste, recycling, and keeping gear out of landfills.
     

Gear Fitting Form: We are committed to ensuring your satisfaction with our products, and our Gear Fitting Form is a vital part of this process. This form allows us to provide a customized boot fitting experience with an impeccable 90% accuracy rate, tailored to your specific needs.

If you choose to refuse or fail to fill out the Gear Fitting Form upon request, please note the following terms for returns and refunds:

  • Shipping Costs: Customers are responsible for all shipping costs associated with returns or exchanges in these cases.

  • Restocking Fee: A restocking fee may apply if gear is returned due to improper fit resulting from not completing the Gear Fitting Form.

  • Refund Processing: Refunds will be issued once the returned items are received and inspected, less any applicable shipping and restocking fees.

We strongly recommend filling out the Gear Fitting Form to help ensure the best fit for your gear and to minimize any need for returns or exchanges. This step not only saves you time but also enhances your overall experience with our products.

4. Restocking Fee

We charge a 10% restocking fee on all returned items. This fee helps us manage the high costs associated with shipping, business expenses, and taxes. As a business with low profit margins, we must implement this fee to maintain our ability to offer competitive pricing on top-quality gear. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

5. Refunds

Refunds will only be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase (credit card, debit card, or PayPal). Alternatively, we can offer you a store credit to use for future purchases on skitrucks.com, if item is subject to refund.

6. Liability Waiver

Skiing, snowboarding, and other winter activities carry inherent risks, including the possibility of serious injury or death. By purchasing from Ski Trucks, you acknowledge and assume responsibility for these risks. We highly recommend wearing appropriate safety gear, such as a helmet, and taking lessons if you are new to the sport.

Important: By purchasing from us, you agree to the following:

  • Assumption of Risk: You understand the inherent risks associated with skiing, snowboarding, and other winter sports. You agree to assume all risks associated with the use of the purchased equipment.

  • Binding Effect of Agreement: This agreement is binding upon your heirs, next of kin, executors, administrators, assigns, and representatives, even in the event of death or incapacity.

  • Release and Waiver of Claims: You agree to waive any and all claims you may have against Ski Trucks LLC and all associated manufacturers for any loss, damage, injury, or expense arising from your use of the equipment. This includes claims of negligence or breach of contract related to the design, manufacture, selection, installation, maintenance, or adjustment of the equipment.

7. Winter Sports/Skiing/Snowboarding Equipment Purchase Agreement

Assumption of Risk and Waiver:
By purchasing ski or snowboard equipment from Ski Trucks LLC, you confirm your awareness and acceptance of the inherent risks of winter sports and agree to hold Ski Trucks LLC and the manufacturers harmless for any injuries or damages that may occur.

  • To Accept for Use "As-Is": You understand that the equipment purchased may vary in condition, particularly for used items, and you agree to accept the equipment as-is, based on the product description provided at the time of purchase.

  • Release and Waiver of Claims: You waive all claims against Ski Trucks LLC and all equipment manufacturers for any loss, injury, or damage caused by your use of the equipment, even if the cause is negligence or a defect.
